Kids develop a strong foundation in reading as they advance to middle school and beyond.

“I had the privilege of working with Kristina for five years when she was hired as an ELA coach for teachers in my district. During that time, I learned more about running effective guided reading groups, administering running records, and creating fabulous reader and writer workshop lessons, than I did throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate studies. As a 25-year veteran educator, I continue to use her techniques in my classroom to this day!
Although our work together has ended, she is always there to answer questions and offer support all these years later. She is a true asset to education!”

While the lesson was excellent, it wasn’t right for the students.
Already proficient in the areas the teacher was focusing on made the lesson unnecessary—for everyone. Don't worry, I've been there too!
I see this happening in our schools over and over. Outstanding teachers giving exceptional lessons that aren’t always what students need most. All because in the rush of education, assessments are scored, then filed, and forgotten—rather than analyzed and used in the classroom.

I know you’re here for a reason.
Your dedication to the success of your learner is unmatched. You work hard helping them become the readers and thinkers they’re meant to be. Don’t you?!
You know that …
Strong literacy requires reading words accurately, fluently, and with the understanding needed to advance. Yet, some children continue to struggle to get deeper in their reading and thinking.
The tips I’m sharing will break through the barriers.
